Graceland in Buckinghamshire

Buckinghamshire runs west of us along the A421 — Milton Keynes is the closest and the dominant story, then south through Buckingham and Aylesbury and across to High Wycombe at the far edge of the county. The M1 picks up the eastern side of Buckinghamshire, the M40 carries the south-west, and the A421 connects St Neots straight into Milton Keynes. For a county with one of the busiest housebuilding markets in the country, that direct corridor matters.

What we install across Buckinghamshire

Buckinghamshire installs are mostly Trad Deck, and Milton Keynes specifically is one of the cleanest fits in the country for the system. The Buckinghamshire plot grids tend to be regular, the house types repeat, and Trad Deck's pattern repetition — the second plot faster than the first, the third faster than the second — is exactly what a multi-plot Milton Keynes programme needs. The system is rated to Load Class 3 under BS EN 12811-1:2003 with a safe working load of 2.0 kN/m² UDL inclusive of operatives and Class B material fragility under ACR[M]001:2014.

For suitable apartment-frame and commercial areas in Milton Keynes and along the A421 / M1 corridor, G-Deck Lite may be the efficient choice where fast steel handling fits the programme. Either system is a fall-prevention platform, not a crash deck, and the Handover Certificate names it on the file.

Who we work with in Buckinghamshire

National and regional housebuilders running multi-plot programmes across Milton Keynes, Buckingham, Aylesbury and the smaller market towns. Apartment-frame principal contractors on the mid-rise residential blocks going up across central Milton Keynes. Commercial principal contractors on office, business-park and light-industrial work along the M1 / A421 corridor. Buckinghamshire is one of the counties where Graceland's housebuilding work and Graceland's commercial work meet most often on the same week.

How a Buckinghamshire installation works

How a Buckinghamshire installation works — Graceland on site
  1. 01

    Enquire

Send the drawings, plot types and programme. We create the install pattern on paper and arrange a site survey only if something needs checking before quote.

  2. 02

    Plan and RAMS

A method statement, risk assessment and CDM 2015-mapped RAMS pack lands with your principal designer for sign-off before anything goes on site.

  3. 03

    Install

A two- or three-person crew installs the deck in one planned visit per plot or per floor and walks the completed platform with your site agent. A jointly countersigned Handover Certificate puts it formally into service.

  4. 04

    Dismantle

A single planned visit once the trades above are finished, sequenced plot by plot or floor by floor. Every component inspected on the way out, defects quarantined, the area handed back clean.
