Graceland at the front. Beresford's behind it.
Graceland is the sister company to Beresford's Flooring Ltd, an in-situ concrete contractor working on steel-framed buildings across the UK. Visually and editorially this website is Graceland — the brand, the voice, the photography, the work on site. Behind the scenes, the Beresford's group is the operational backbone that makes it possible for a specialist safety decking installer based in St Neots to mobilise a crew to a care-home block in Kent without missing a beat.

What Beresford's actually does
Beresford's Flooring Ltd is a specialist in-situ concrete contractor. Their day job is pouring the concrete floors of steel-framed commercial, industrial and residential buildings — and that is a business with its own tier-one credentials, its own operational scale and its own national coverage. The relationship with Graceland is not a paper relationship; the two businesses share a parent group, a yard, a training function, a commercial team and — when it matters — the people on the ground.

How the group relationship helps your Graceland project
Four things, concretely.
Nationwide mobilisation from a regional base. Graceland is headquartered in St Neots. Our core regions sit across Cambridgeshire, Bedfordshire, Hertfordshire, Northamptonshire, Buckinghamshire, East Anglia and the Midlands. The reason we can still put a crew on a site in Kent, Somerset or North Yorkshire within 7 days of an order is that the Beresford's group already has an operational footprint nationally — and Graceland inherits that footprint every time we need it.
Tier-one CDM experience. Beresford's regularly works on steel-framed projects where the principal designer and principal contractor are running the job to the highest end of the CDM 2015 documentation standard. The RAMS, inspection and handover expectations that come with that kind of work inform how Graceland writes its own documentation — which is one of the reasons a Graceland RAMS pack does not get sent back by a tier-one principal designer.
Established HR, training and commercial functions. Graceland is a specialist installer with a small direct headcount. Behind that headcount, the wider group gives us a HR function, a training and competency-record function, and a commercial team that has negotiated programme and price with national housebuilders. That is a lot of operational weight to have behind a business that answers every survey call inside a working day.
Continuity of reputation. The Beresford's group has been operating for decades on projects where "the contractor" is expected to still be there in three years' time for a snag or a remedial visit. Graceland inherits that reputation for continuity, and it is a large part of why specifiers on care-home and commercial work are comfortable naming us on a programme that will not complete until 2028.

What this page does not claim
A few things we deliberately do not say on this page, because they are either not our story to tell or not yet verified in the project file.
- Specific Beresford's project counts, turnover figures or named tier-one clients. If you want that information it is on their own website and their own case studies, not on a Graceland sister-company page.
- That Graceland and Beresford's are interchangeable. They are not. Graceland is a safety decking specialist, Beresford's is an in-situ concrete specialist, and on a given job one of them is almost always the better answer. Where both are needed on the same project — and that does happen on steel-framed commercial work — the two businesses work as two businesses that happen to share a parent group.
- Anything about the group's legal structure, ownership or trading history beyond "sister company" and "part of the Beresford's group". The legal detail is not the story; the operational continuity is.

How to get the right one
If you need a working platform on a floor opening — survey, install, RAMS, dismantle — you want Graceland, and you should go to our contact page or phone Paul or Ewan directly.
If you need in-situ concrete on a steel-framed building, you want Beresford's, and beresfordsflooring.co.uk is the right front door. If you call us first by mistake, we will put you in touch with the right person on the Beresford's side the same day.
